Safe Play

Responsible Gambling

Gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of stress, debt or anxiety. 777sp is committed to giving every Pakistani player the tools, knowledge and support they need to stay in control.

Playing Smart Starts Here

At 777sp, responsible gambling is not a box we tick at the bottom of a page. It is a genuine, platform-wide commitment that shapes the way we write content, design tools and communicate with our users. Whether you're in Karachi following PSL cricket odds or in Lahore exploring live casino guides, our position on player welfare remains the same everywhere.

Gambling — when done responsibly — is a form of entertainment enjoyed by adults who understand the risks, set clear limits and treat money wagered as the cost of that entertainment, not as an investment or a way to solve financial problems. When it stops feeling like entertainment, it is time to pause.

This page gives you honest information about the tools available to control your play, the warning signs that gambling may be becoming a problem, and where to find support if you or someone you care about needs it.

One important legal note: The Prevention of Gambling Act 1977 and related legislation in Pakistan may restrict or prohibit gambling activity. 777sp does not confirm that online gambling is lawful in Pakistan or that it is approved by the Government of Pakistan, the PTA, or any provincial authority. Users must assess their own legal position before accessing gambling services.

Signs of Responsible Play

You gamble with money you have set aside specifically for entertainment — not money needed for rent, food, utility bills or education fees.

You set a budget before you start — whether it's PKR 500 or PKR 5,000 — and you stop when that budget is gone, win or lose.

You view gambling as entertainment, the same way you'd view a cricket match ticket or a restaurant meal — money spent for enjoyment, not recovered.

You can walk away after a loss without chasing your money with bigger bets to "get it back quickly".

Your gambling activity does not affect your relationships, work performance, sleep quality or mental health.

You are comfortable discussing your gambling habits openly with family or close friends — you have nothing to hide about how much you play or spend.

You use session timers, deposit limits or cool-off periods when you feel you need a break — and you respect those limits even during a winning streak.

Tools to Keep You in Control

These tools are available in your Account settings. You can activate any of them at any time — no waiting period, no questions asked.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits can be made until the period resets. Limits take effect immediately when reduced and require a cooling-off period to increase — so you cannot raise them impulsively in the heat of a session.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose within a defined period. When your losses hit that threshold, your session is paused automatically. This is one of the most effective tools for preventing the common trap of chasing losses — a pattern that frequently turns a manageable session into a damaging one.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. When the timer expires, you will receive a clear notification and your session will end. Time can pass very quickly when you're engaged in live casino or sports betting — session timers help you stay aware of how long you have been playing and take regular breaks.

Reality Check Reminders

Set periodic on-screen reminders that show you how long you have been playing and how much you have won or lost in the current session. Reality checks interrupt the flow of play deliberately — giving you a moment to reassess and decide consciously whether to continue, take a break or stop entirely.

Cool-Off Periods

Take a short break from gambling — from 24 hours to 6 weeks — without permanently closing your Account. During a cool-off period, you cannot log in to place bets or make deposits. This is ideal when you feel your gambling is becoming a habit rather than a choice, but you are not ready for a full self-exclusion.

Self-Exclusion

Request a self-exclusion period of six months, one year, three years or permanently. Once activated, your Account is closed immediately and you will not be able to re-register or access any services for the exclusion period. This is our most serious player protection tool and we take it with full commitment. Contact [email protected] to activate immediately.

How to activate these tools: Log in to your Account → navigate to Account Settings → select "Responsible Gambling" or "Safe Play" → choose the tool you need. Alternatively, contact our support team at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link) and we will activate limits or exclusions on your behalf within the same session.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling does not announce itself — it develops gradually. Recognising these signs early in yourself or someone you care about is the first step toward getting back in control.

Chasing Losses

Placing increasingly larger bets to try to recover money already lost, convincing yourself the "next bet will fix it".

Hiding Your Gambling

Concealing gambling activity, amounts spent or wins and losses from family members, friends or colleagues.

Gambling with Essential Funds

Using money needed for household bills, education, food or rent — including funds transferred via Easypaisa or JazzCash that were earmarked for other purposes.

Inability to Stop

Feeling unable to walk away even when you intended to stop, or repeatedly breaking your own self-imposed limits.

Sleep & Health Impacts

Losing sleep over gambling results, playing late into the night, or experiencing anxiety and mood changes connected to gambling wins and losses.

Relationship Strain

Arguments, withdrawal from family life, broken commitments or neglected responsibilities because of time or money spent gambling.

Work or Study Neglect

Reduced focus on work, skipping university, missing deadlines or declining performance because gambling is taking priority.

Borrowing to Gamble

Taking loans, borrowing from friends and family, or relying on credit to fund gambling activity after losing your own funds.

Emotional Dependence

Gambling to relieve boredom, anxiety, stress or low mood — using it as an emotional coping mechanism rather than entertainment.

If you recognise any of these signs in yourself: You do not need to wait until things get worse. Activating a deposit limit, cool-off period or self-exclusion costs nothing and can be done right now. Contact us at [email protected] or use the tools in your Account settings immediately.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is available at any time — no waiting period, no questions asked, no judgment. Here is how to do it through your Account settings or by contacting our support team directly.

Immediate exclusion available: If you need to stop right now and cannot access your Account settings, email [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link) with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and we will close your Account immediately.

1
Log In to Your Account

Access your 777sp Account on any device. If you are unable to log in or prefer not to, you can request exclusion directly via [email protected] — account access is not required to initiate self-exclusion.

2
Go to Account Settings

Navigate to your Account Settings menu — usually accessible from the top-right corner of the screen or the profile icon. Look for "Responsible Gambling", "Safe Play" or "Player Controls" in the settings menu.

3
Select Self-Exclusion

Choose the self-exclusion option and select your preferred exclusion period: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or permanent closure. We recommend erring on the side of a longer period — you can always contact us to review your situation after the period ends, but you cannot shorten it once activated.

4
Confirm Your Request

Confirm your exclusion request. Your Account will be closed immediately and any active sessions terminated. You will receive a confirmation by email. During the exclusion period, you will not be able to register a new account or access any 777sp services.

5
Seek Additional Support

Self-exclusion is a strong first step, but we encourage users to also seek personal support if gambling has been causing distress. Consider speaking with a trusted family member, a counsellor, or contacting a mental health support organisation in your city — whether in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan.

Ask Yourself These Questions

Honest self-reflection is one of the most powerful tools available to any gambler. If you answer "yes" to two or more of these questions, we encourage you to use the control tools available or contact our support team.

1

Have you ever gambled more money than you originally intended to in a single session?

2

Have you ever returned to gambling the next day or soon after to try to win back money you lost?

3

Have you ever felt irritable, anxious or restless when you tried to cut down or stop gambling?

4

Have you ever lied to family members, friends or colleagues about how much time or money you spend on gambling?

5

Have you ever used money intended for essential expenses — rent, utility bills, school fees, groceries — on gambling?

6

Have you ever borrowed money from family, friends or financial services specifically to fund gambling activity?

7

Has gambling ever caused significant problems in your relationships with a partner, parents, siblings or close friends?

8

Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently — planning the next session, replaying past sessions or calculating how to fund future bets — when you are not actively gambling?

Two or more "yes" answers? This does not make you a bad person — it means gambling may be moving from entertainment toward a compulsion. The best thing you can do right now is activate a deposit limit or cool-off period and consider speaking to someone you trust. Our support team is available at [email protected].

777sp's Responsible Gambling Commitment

These six pillars guide everything we do in the responsible gambling space — from how we write content to how we design player controls.

Adults-Only Access

Strict 18+ age verification is required at registration and during KYC. We do not serve minors under any circumstances. This age requirement does not imply gambling is lawful for adults in Pakistan.

Accessible Control Tools

Deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, reality checks, cool-off periods and self-exclusion are available to every user with no friction, no waiting periods and no pushback from our team.

Honest Education

We write honestly about gambling risks, odds, house edges and the statistical reality of long-term play — not just the wins. Informed players make better decisions.

No Predatory Marketing

777sp does not target vulnerable users, recently self-excluded users or users who have indicated gambling-related distress with promotional offers or re-engagement campaigns.

Responsive Support

Our support team treats responsible gambling requests — including self-exclusion and limit activation — as the highest priority. No gambling-related support request waits behind a commercial query.

Legal Transparency

We are transparent about Pakistan's gambling legal context, including the Prevention of Gambling Act 1977. We never claim governmental approval or imply gambling is unrestricted for Pakistani users.

Supporting Someone with a Gambling Problem

If you are worried that a family member — a spouse, sibling, parent or friend — may have a gambling problem, it can feel difficult to know what to do. Here are some practical suggestions.

Talk openly, not accusingly. Approach the conversation with concern rather than blame. "I've noticed you seem stressed about money lately and I'm worried about you" lands better than "I know you've been gambling all your money away."

Do not cover gambling debts. Offering to pay off gambling debts — however well-intentioned — typically removes the consequences that motivate someone to seek help. It can also place you in financial difficulty.

Encourage professional support. Gambling disorder is a recognised mental health condition. Encouraging the person to speak to a qualified counsellor or medical professional is one of the most supportive things you can do.

Look after yourself too. Living with someone who has a gambling problem is stressful. Your own mental health and financial security matter. Seek support for yourself from friends, community or professional networks.

Where to Find Help

While Pakistan does not yet have a dedicated national gambling helpline, there are mental health and financial counselling resources available across major cities that can help with gambling-related distress. The organisations below are mentioned for general awareness only — 777sp does not guarantee their current availability, service scope or endorsement.
